Guided tours

During the Festival Dramaten will be organising guided tours backstage and around the public spaces. Get to know the history and explore the décor of the 101-year-old building.

The tours end with a meeting with Göran Wassberg who worked at Dramaten for twenty years and who collaborated with Bergman on many of his productions, beginning with Hamlet, played by Peter Stormare, in 1986. It was followed by Ghosts, The Bacchae and Mary Stuart. Göran Wassberg talks about this exciting time, all the faxes he sent to Fårö and his telephone conversations with Bergman. We will also be looking at his design sketches and models.
